Meeting your obligations under the Building Safety Act
The Building Safety Act came into force in April 2023 and was designed to improve the design, construction and management of higher-risk buildings (i.e. those over 18 meters or 7 or more storeys).
ALLRES has established a management system, focussed on managing risk around the spread of fire and structural collapse. The system is focussed on the responsibilities of the
Accountable Person and the Principal Accountable Person.
As a Director of a resident management company, you may find yourself as an Accountable Person under the Act. The ALLRES management system enables you to manage your responsibilities
